CLAIRE PARKER.

I’m a proud and enthusiastic Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2007 with a first class honours degree. ..a career I wanted to do since I was 11 years old. I specialised in the field of musculoskeletal Physiotherapy 2 years after completing my core rotations in a local hospital. In the past 7 years, I have also had the pleasure of leading the Paediatric Musculoskeletal team in an NHS setting alongside my private work. I am always keen to provide the best possible treatment by keeping up to date with evidence based guidelines and attending regular courses.

I have undertaken many courses including acupuncture, Pilates, myofascial release, kinesiology taping and youth athlete development courses. I am particularly interested in promoting health and wellbeing and rehabilitation to get you back to being the best version of yourself.

I thoroughly enjoy working with the friendly team at Wickford Physiotherapy who are always so encouraging and share the same passion to care for our patients and always put them first.

Outside of work I am lucky enough to be a mum to my three beautiful children. I love spending time with my family, going on holidays, bike rides, supporting my kids in their sports including martial arts, dance, swimming and even cheering them on from the sidelines of the football and rugby fields. Being a county swimmer in my youth and now regularly attending the gym I really appreciate the effort and determination which goes into a chosen sport and the importance of staying healthy and maintaining fitness.
